UNSW’s Women in Engineering (WIE) program is launching a new club for high school girls!
The Girls in Engineering Club is a fun, inspiring community for high school girls who are interested in STEM, study maths or science at school, or who just want to explore what engineering is all about.
To celebrate we are holding a special event to launch the Girls in Engineering Club. Join us on campus to become part of the WIE community and meet like-minded peers.
On the day you’ll have to the opportunity to:
- Hear from some of UNSW’s incredible Women in Engineering Ambassadors, who will share their stories about becoming engineers
- Meet current UNSW engineering students and hear about what it’s like to study engineering
- Have afternoon tea and meet some fellow students from other schools
- Take part in interactive engineering activities
- And most importantly, sign up to the Girls in Engineering Club (it’s free!) and receive your exclusive gift pack
Want to bring your class along to the event? We are happy to provide a complimentary bus for you and your students to UNSW campus and back to your school. If you’d like to arrange a bus, please contact Sarah Coull, Women in Engineering Manager: s.coull@unsw.edu.au
Please note, students must individually register for the event.
